Potential Energy 2017

A glass pendulum hangs from the ceiling above a circular bed of sand. When activated it creates patterned ripples in the sand below, while the movement of the light across viewers and objects casts morphing shadows onto the surrounding space.

+Created as part of Shotgun6 – professional development program and exhibition awarded by MONA (Museum of Old and New Art), Detached Cultural Organisation and Contemporary Art Tasmania. Exhibited in Mock Sun, a solo show at Contemporary Art Tasmania 2017
